Kinetic Energy Theatre Company held an intimate evening on 31 October 2025 to celebrate our 50th anniversary with the launch of THEATRE ON THE EDGE, an anthology of six plays by co-directors Jepke Goudsmit and Graham Jones. Selected from the body-of-work created at The Edge Theatre (1985-2001) the pieces reflect their signature laboratory style, a synthesis of disciplines: dance, music, visual art, poetry and drama.
The evening was set within an installation-environment in the Rex Cramphorn Theatre Research Studio at The University of Sydney, featuring live performance and reflection bringing the book to life. Special guests Kevin Hunt and Roger Dean presented new compositions inspired by their long association with the company.
