KINETIC ENERGY began its life in Sydney Australia in 1975 as a contemporary dance company, founded by Graham Jones.
By the 1980's, under the co-direction of Graham Jones & Jepke Goudsmit, the company began to explore a multidisciplinary style of performance. Since then, Graham & Jepke have run an ongoing programme of training, research, creation and performance, including educational work. Their experiential performance style integrates the dramatic seamlessly into the kinetic and the acoustic.
